My name is Tonnie Ya-on.
I am a wife, a data analyst and scientist, a software engineer, and a researcher.
I have a Master’s in Computer Science and have worked on data analysis for hospitality, microfinancing, retail, and startups.
I am currently working on my research interest in visualization and interpretable machine learning while working in the industry.
I started this site for three main reasons:
- I want to help people understand complex topics in data analysis and machine learning in easy-to-digest ways.
- I like breaking down theories and concepts and applying them. I enjoy sharing about it with people.
- I like sharing what I learned on the job and from peer-reviewed papers.
